Just announced this morning, LinkedIn Learning combines the best of Lynda.com and LinkedIn.com to bring you a new way to learn, anytime, at your pace, and right from your LinkedIn account. Choose from a library of over 9000 courses developed by industry experts. LinkedIn Learning is now live at www.learning.linkedin.com, or you can access it right from your LinkedIn profile. If you already have a LinkedIn Premium account, access to the learning library is included!
You can read more about the release of this great new product by visiting the LinkedIn Learning Blog.
The library of courses has been developed over the course of many years through Lynda.com, which was acquired by LinkedIn in the summer of 2015 for $1.5 billion. The library includes courses in topics such as:
Human Resources
Numerous Software and IT Courses
AutoCAD
Microsoft Project
General Project Management
Besides just being a resource for individuals, #LinkedInLearning can be used as a corporate tool to enable your entire organization to access the learning library, and it includes administrative tools to track employee progress and suggest new courses. Check out the corporate learning tool product at https://learning.linkedin.com/for-entire-companies.
These are high quality, video based courses that are professionally recorded and produced. Many of the courses include learning assessments. They can be played at different speeds, paused and resumed later, and re-reviewed anytime. The audio from the courses is also transcribed and the text is included on the screen below the video. Another great feature is the inclusion of exercise files that enable the learner to follow along using the same examples being demonstrated in the on-line course. Watch the preview video below for an example, or click here to see the list of courses featuring how to use BlueBeam (REVU, Studio and Ipad) for the construction industry.
